Celebrating Claira: 2025 NHRMA Scholarship Award Winner

We are proud to announce that Claira Warfield has been awarded the 2025 NHRMA Scholarship, an honor that reflects her commitment to advancing in the field of human resources and building stronger workplaces.

Claira’s journey is nothing short of remarkable. In less than three months, she completed 94 college credits—an achievement that enabled her to graduate in March 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Human Resources Management from Western Governors University. This accomplishment demonstrates the drive, discipline, and passion she brings to her career in HR.

With the support of the NHRMA Scholarship, Claira will now enroll in the NHRMA's SHRM Certification Preparation Course, the next step toward earning her SHRM Certification. As she explains:

“This certification will substantiate and solidify my education and experience in a demonstrable way. SHRM is considered to be the standard across most industries, and the certification will open doors for me that may not otherwise be available. That will allow me to continue to create work environments that cultivate diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.”
