Cascade Occupational Safety & Health Conference

Recognizing HR Leadership and Advancing Workplace Well-Being at Cascade 2026

The Cascade 2026 Conference will attract professionals from across Oregon and the Northwest to focus on creating safer, healthier, and more resilient workplaces. Hosted at the Graduate by Hilton Eugene on March 3–4, 2026, this 21st biennial event is a joint effort of the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) Cascade Chapter, Oregon OSHA, and the Lane County Human Resource Association.

The conference will feature Dale Lesinski, Vice President of Sales and Training at DiVal Safety, presenting his keynote: “Safe 4 the Right Reasons.” His talk will set the tone for a program that bridges HR, safety, and leadership excellence, making Cascade 2026 a must-attend event for HR professionals focused on compliance, culture, and care.

    This year’s HR-focused sessions include:

    • Behavioral-based safety and building a culture of respect
    • Tactics for dealing with difficult people
    • Recent updates in employment laws
    • Employee mental health and reasonable accommodations
    • Delegation for managers with Jennifer Bouman-Stegall

SHRM and HRCI professional development credit requests are being reviewed.

    Honoring HR Leadership

The conference will also recognize excellence in human resources through the HR Leadership and Impact Award, celebrating professionals who model integrity, innovation, and commitment to people-first practices. Nominees exemplify the principles of safety, equity, and human dignity that align with both HR and occupational safety missions.
