The HR Leaders of Tomorrow conference for 2024 occurs April 12 - 13 in Boise, ID at the Boise State University campus.

In the states of Alaska, Oregon, and Washington (NHRMA's footprint). six universities with SHRM student chapters were nationally recognized for their 2022 - 2023 activities and achievements.  Four chapters achieving the Superior Award met numerous criteria for chapter management and programming

At the 2023 NHRMA conference in Tacoma, WA, Patty Hickok of Anchorage, Alaska, was awarded the Distinguished Member accolade for her 22 years of exceptional service and outstanding contributions as a leader among HR professionals. With her unwavering dedication and remarkable leadership skills, Patty has consistently pushed the boundaries of what is possible in human resource management. 

Now that the 2023 NHRMA Conference & Tradeshow has closed, members of the board have returned to life on the frontline. But for a few days, they met to do the business of NHRMA and to celebrate the accomplishments of students and professionals. This group had its pre-work done on projects and initiatives, making the tempo of the business meeting quick - and that meant more time for strategic planning. Projection for 2024: even greater improvements in operations of the three-state regional SHRM group representing Alaska, Oregon, and Washington HR professionals.
