STRATEGIES FOR BUILDING YOUR PERSONAL BRAND
Most of us have heard about “employer branding” but what about “personal branding”? In social circles, we develop a reputation or “brand.” This is one way people identify us, by our brand. In a work setting or academic setting, we all behave and interact with others in both formal and informal social circles. This presentation addressed how we develop our personal brand informal social circles. Why is this important? A personal brand is a systematic, planned process for developing a "brand" that is created around your name or your career. The sad truth is this; if you don’t develop your own personal brand, others will create your brand. This presentation will discuss strategies for developing your personal brand.

Dr. David J. Rambow
Dr. Dave Rambow served in the United States Army for 24 years; over the course of his military service he served as a Squad Leader in Viet Nam and served in numerous command positions ranging from platoon leader to battalion command. For past 25 years, he has served as Professor of Management within the School of Business, Wayland Baptist University, instructing graduate and undergraduate business and management courses. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Engineering, Washington State University; A Master of Arts degree in Human Resource Development, Webster University, and a Doctor of Education degree in Leadership, University of La Verne.
